By signing up on the edGrow World Website you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Use”).

Welcome to edGrow World.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the edGrow World website, online learning platform, courses, Live Sessions, educational programmes, digital products, learning resources, content and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

For the purposes of these Terms:

  • edGrow World”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean edGrow World;

  • you”, “your”, “User” or “Learner” means the person accessing or using the Website or Services; and

  • where a Learner is a child/minor, “you” may also refer to the Parent or lawful Guardian responsible for the Learner's enrolment or use of the Services, as applicable.

These Terms should be read together with the edGrow World Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy, together with any programme-specific terms communicated at the time of purchase.

By accessing, registering for, purchasing or using the Website or Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to comply with them.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not access or use the Website or Services.


1. ABOUT EDGROW WORLD

edGrow World is an educational platform providing learning and skill-development programmes, which may include:

  • online courses;

  • Live Sessions;

  • communication and public-speaking programmes;

  • debating and MUN-related programmes;

  • creative-writing programmes;

  • educational workshops;

  • learning resources;

  • digital products; and

  • other educational or skill-development Services.

The specific Services available to you will depend upon the programme or product purchased or otherwise accessed.


2. ELIGIBILITY

The Website may be accessed by users of different ages, subject to the nature of the relevant Service and applicable law.

Where a Learner is below 18 years of age, the Parent or lawful Guardian shall be responsible for the Learner's enrolment, purchase and use of the Services to the extent required by applicable law.

A Parent or lawful Guardian enrolling a child/minor represents that they are authorised to act on behalf of the Learner where such authority is required.

edGrow World may request reasonable information to verify the identity or authority of a Parent or lawful Guardian where necessary for account, payment, child-safety or privacy purposes.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to prevent a minor from accessing educational content where such access is lawfully permitted and appropriately supervised or authorised.


3. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS

These Terms may become applicable when you:

  • visit or use the Website;

  • create an account;

  • register for a programme;

  • purchase a course or digital product;

  • attend a Live Session;

  • access educational content; or

  • otherwise use the Services.

Where a Parent or lawful Guardian purchases or enrols a Learner, the Parent/Guardian agrees to these Terms on behalf of the Learner to the extent legally permitted.

Where a particular programme contains additional terms, those additional terms will form part of the agreement applicable to that programme.


4. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION

Certain Services may require you to create an account.

You agree to provide information that is:

  • accurate;

  • complete;

  • current; and

  • not misleading.

You are responsible for keeping your account information reasonably up to date.

You must not create an account using another person's identity or information without appropriate authority.

edGrow World may restrict or suspend an account where there is reasonable evidence of:

  • fraudulent information;

  • unauthorised access;

  • misuse of the Services;

  • material breach of these Terms; or

  • activity that creates a security, legal or safety risk.


5. ACCOUNT SECURITY AND PASSWORD

Where access requires a password, PIN, OTP or other authentication credential (“Credentials”), such Credentials are intended for the registered User.

You agree:

  • not to share your Credentials with another person;

  • not to sell, rent, transfer or sublicense your account;

  • not to permit unauthorised persons to access paid content through your account;

  • to take reasonable steps to protect your Credentials; and

  • to notify edGrow World promptly if you suspect unauthorised access or misuse.

If an account is intentionally shared or transferred in violation of these Terms, edGrow World may restrict or suspend access.

Any refund arising from suspension or termination shall be determined in accordance with the applicable Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.


6. COURSE ENROLMENT AND PURCHASE

When you purchase a course, programme or digital product, you receive access to the particular Service identified at the time of purchase, subject to:

  • these Terms;

  • the course/programme description;

  • the applicable fee plan;

  • the applicable access period;

  • the Refund & Cancellation Policy; and

  • any programme-specific terms communicated before purchase.

A purchase of a course or programme does not transfer ownership of edGrow World's educational content or intellectual property to the purchaser.


7. LICENCE TO USE EDUCATIONAL CONTENT

Subject to payment of applicable fees and compliance with these Terms, edGrow World grants the enrolled Learner a limited:

personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence

to access and use the purchased educational content during the applicable access period.

The licence is solely for the Learner's personal and non-commercial educational use.

You may not:

  • sell the content;

  • transfer your access to another person;

  • sublicense the content;

  • distribute the content;

  • upload it to another website or platform;

  • commercially exploit it;

  • reproduce substantial portions of it;

  • create a competing educational product substantially based upon it; or

  • otherwise use it outside the scope of this licence.

Nothing in this section restricts any use that is expressly permitted under applicable law.


8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

Unless expressly stated otherwise, all rights, title and interest in the Website, Services and edGrow World content belong to edGrow World or its respective licensors.

This may include:

  • course materials;

  • lesson plans;

  • teaching methodologies;

  • presentations;

  • videos;

  • audio;

  • worksheets;

  • quizzes;

  • assessments;

  • educational resources;

  • graphics;

  • illustrations;

  • photographs;

  • text;

  • software;

  • Website design;

  • logos;

  • trademarks;

  • service marks;

  • trade names;

  • recordings; and

  • other proprietary materials.

Such materials may be protected under applicable copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws in India and other jurisdictions.

No ownership rights are transferred to you merely because you purchase or access a course.


9. COPYRIGHT AND CONTENT PROTECTION

Except where expressly permitted by edGrow World or applicable law, you must not:

  • copy substantial portions of educational content;

  • reproduce course materials for distribution;

  • record Live Sessions without permission;

  • photograph or screen-capture content for redistribution;

  • upload content to social-media platforms or file-sharing services;

  • distribute course materials to non-enrolled persons;

  • sell or commercially exploit course materials;

  • remove copyright or ownership notices; or

  • create derivative commercial products from edGrow World content.

Limited personal use permitted under applicable copyright law remains unaffected.


10. LIVE SESSIONS

Where a programme includes Live Sessions, access is subject to the applicable:

  • class schedule;

  • programme duration;

  • teacher/mentor availability;

  • technical requirements;

  • attendance requirements, if any; and

  • programme-specific terms.

edGrow World may reasonably change a Live Session schedule because of:

  • teacher/mentor availability;

  • technical difficulties;

  • public holidays;

  • emergencies;

  • operational requirements; or

  • circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Where reasonably practicable, edGrow World may provide:

  • a rescheduled session;

  • an alternative session;

  • access to a recording;

  • replacement content; or

  • another reasonable solution.


11. LIVE SESSION RECORDINGS

Where Live Sessions are recorded, recordings may be used for legitimate educational, operational, safety, quality-assurance or service-continuity purposes, including providing access to enrolled Learners who were unable to attend.

Recordings may contain the image, voice, name or other information of Learners, teachers or other participants.

edGrow World shall handle such information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Where identifiable content involving a child is intended to be used for external advertising, publicity, social media, promotional campaigns or other purposes beyond delivery of the relevant Service, appropriate permission or consent shall be obtained where required by applicable law.


12. LEARNER AND PARENT CONDUCT

Users are expected to behave respectfully and appropriately when using the Website, Live Sessions and Services.

You must not:

  • harass, threaten or bully another person;

  • abuse teachers, mentors, employees or Learners;

  • use hateful or discriminatory language;

  • intentionally disrupt Live Sessions;

  • impersonate another person;

  • share another person's private information;

  • engage in unlawful activity;

  • submit fraudulent information;

  • misuse another person's account;

  • interfere with the Website or Services; or

  • otherwise engage in conduct that creates a material safety, legal or operational risk.

edGrow World may take reasonable action in response to serious or repeated misconduct, including restricting participation in a Live Session or suspending access, subject to applicable law.


13. PROHIBITED USE OF THE WEBSITE

You must not use the Website or Services to:

  • violate applicable law;

  • infringe intellectual-property rights;

  • gain unauthorised access to systems or accounts;

  • introduce viruses, malware or harmful code;

  • interfere with Website operations;

  • circumvent technical or security measures;

  • scrape or systematically copy substantial amounts of content;

  • use automated systems to access protected content;

  • reverse engineer the Website except where permitted by law;

  • commit fraud;

  • distribute unlawful or harmful material;

Certain Services may allow Learners or Parents/Guardians to submit:

  • assignments;

  • essays;

  • speeches;

  • artwork;

  • written work;

  • feedback;

  • comments;

  • testimonials;

  • photographs;

  • videos; or

  • other content (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of User Content that you lawfully own.

By submitting User Content for educational or service purposes, you permit edGrow World to host, store, process, reproduce or display such content to the extent reasonably necessary to:

  • provide the Services;

  • evaluate assignments;

  • provide feedback;

  • administer the programme;

  • maintain records;

  • ensure safety;

  • resolve disputes; or

  • improve the Services,

subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

This permission does not give edGrow World unlimited rights to commercially exploit identifiable child content.


16. TESTIMONIALS, ACHIEVEMENTS AND PROMOTIONAL CONTENT

edGrow World may receive testimonials, feedback, achievements, photographs, videos or other material from Learners or Parents/Guardians.

Identifiable Learner content, particularly content relating to children, shall not knowingly be used for external advertising, publicity or promotional purposes without appropriate permission or consent where required by applicable law.

Where separate promotional consent is provided, such consent shall govern the permitted use of the relevant material.


17. EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE AND NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS

edGrow World provides educational and skill-development Services.

Our Services are intended to support learning and development but do not guarantee:

  • a particular academic grade;

  • examination results;

  • competition results;

  • admission to an educational institution;

  • selection for a programme;

  • employment;

  • scholarships;

  • awards;

  • career outcomes; or

  • any particular personal or professional result.

Individual outcomes depend upon numerous factors, including Learner participation, effort, aptitude, prior knowledge, external examinations, competition and circumstances beyond edGrow World's control.


18. COURSE CONTENT AND UPDATES

edGrow World aims to provide accurate, relevant and useful educational content.

Educational content may occasionally contain inadvertent errors or become outdated.

We may reasonably:

  • update educational materials;

  • correct errors;

  • modify lesson plans;

  • replace outdated resources;

  • improve teaching materials;

  • modify activities; or

  • introduce improved learning resources.

Where a material change substantially affects a purchased Service, edGrow World will take reasonable steps to provide an appropriate resolution consistent with the applicable purchase terms and law.


19. WEBSITE AND SERVICE AVAILABILITY

24. DISCONTINUATION OR MODIFICATION OF SERVICES

  • legal or regulatory requirements;

Where a purchased Service is materially discontinued before the end of a promised access period and applicable law or the circumstances require a remedy, edGrow World will provide an appropriate resolution, which may include:

Where a User accesses the Services from another jurisdiction, that User remains responsible for complying with applicable local laws to the extent legally applicable.

Where mandatory rights under applicable foreign law apply to a User, nothing in these Terms is intended to unlawfully exclude or waive those rights.

To the extent legally permissible, edGrow World's aggregate liability arising directly from a paid Service shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the affected customer for the particular Service giving rise to the claim.

This limitation shall not apply to the extent a higher liability is required under applicable law.


32. INDEMNIFICATION

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless edGrow World against reasonable losses, liabilities, claims and expenses arising directly from:

  • your material breach of these Terms;

  • your infringement of third-party intellectual-property rights; or

  • your fraud or intentional wrongful conduct.

This clause does not require you to indemnify edGrow World for losses caused by edGrow World's own unlawful conduct, negligence or breach where applicable law does not permit such allocation of liability.


33. NO WAIVER OF CONSUMER OR STATUTORY RIGHTS

  • waive mandatory consumer rights;

  • prevent a User from approaching a competent court or consumer commission;

  • restrict statutory remedies;

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India, subject to mandatory rights and protections applicable to the User under applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to unlawfully prevent a consumer or User from exercising a mandatory statutory right in their applicable jurisdiction.


37. JURISDICTION

Subject to mandatory jurisdictional rights under applicable law, disputes concerning these Terms or the Services may be brought before a court or legally competent forum having jurisdiction under Indian law.

Nothing in this clause shall be interpreted as preventing a consumer from approaching a competent Consumer Commission or other authority where such right is provided by applicable law.


38. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

edGrow World may update these Terms from time to time to reflect:

  • changes in the Services;

  • technological developments;

  • changes in business practices;

  • changes in applicable law or regulation;

  • regulatory guidance; or

  • other legitimate operational requirements.

  • payment terms; and

  • any additional terms expressly applicable to a particular Service,

constitute the terms governing your use and purchase of the relevant Services, subject to applicable law.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and a mandatory provision of law, the mandatory legal provision shall prevail.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and a specific written term expressly applicable to a particular purchased programme, the specific programme term shall apply to the extent expressly stated and legally permissible.
